Description of a Reiki Session:
First and most importantly, be prepared to relax! By the end of the session, clients use phrases like: “I’ve never felt so peaceful”, “I feel so light!”, “Can I just stay here and nap?”, “I feel like I’ve had a whole night’s sleep”, and “I’m not angry (or afraid, or sad, or hopeless) anymore”.
The duration of a Reiki session will vary by the situation and the client (human and/or animal). Generally, an in-person treatment will last about 1 1/4 hours which includes time to discuss the focus of the session. Usually my clients like to spend a bit of time before the session talking about their focus for the session. During the session, my clients lay, fully clothed, on a massage table. There are pillows, blankets, soft music and soft lighting to create a relaxing environment. After the session I always allow my clients time to process what they may have felt or thought about during the session. Some clients even need enough time to wake up after relaxing themselves into sleep! Distant treatments may be from 15 minutes to an hour in length. Chronic conditions may require several treatments to produce significant healing results.**
For human clients, the Reiki session can be scheduled in my home in Tyler, TX or sent distance at a pre-arranged time. A session will generally last about 1 1/4 hours.
For animal clients, the Reiki can be done in-person (I will travel to the animal) or sent distance at a pre-arranged time.
Fees: For human clients who come to my home, the fee is $80 and lasts about 75 minutes. For animal clients, the fee will vary depending on travel time. The fee for a distance Reiki session is $80 for an hour session and pro-rated for shorter sessions. Please contact me for in-person rates. Payment may be made by personal check, cash, Cash app, Venmo, PayPal or credit card, paid at the time of the session.
